Let's explore Albany!

After years of political and economic tension between Britain and the New England colonies, Albany, New York was finally recognized as a city in 1686. It was time for Albany to begin creating a new life as its own entity, free from its former structure.

Whether you’ve lived far away or close by, Albany is definitely a great spot to consider a new home in. If you can relate to feeling like you live somewhere where you have a house but not a home, visit Albany soon. Full of rich history, diversity, and my personal favorite, good eateries, Albany is a great spot to be. If it’s your first time touring the city, some unique places to see include the New York State Capitol Building, the New York State Museum, and Washington Park. The Palace Theatre and The Egg are great if you want to see the latest plays and performances. Once you’ve spent the day sightseeing, sit down to eat at some local favorites, such as Post, Dove and Deer, or if you’re looking for a vegan option, check out Berben and Wolff’s. Also, when you come to a new city, do you prefer to pack everything ahead of time, or shop there? Colonie Center and Crossgates Mall have pretty much everything you could be looking for! Is shopping local more of your niche? Albany has some cute shops, like Olive & June and Fort Orange General Store. If you come to this city and fall in love with it like I have, there are some great properties that I’d love to show you. This city is a beautiful melting pot of people with different ethnicities, backgrounds, and life stories, and I hope that you’ll consider bringing your story to Albany too.
